There are three main types of driving distractions:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1- Manual (taking your hands off the wheel);<br \/>\n2- Visual (taking your eyes off the road);<br \/>\n3- Cognitive (taking your mind off driving).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And these distractions endanger driver, passenger and bystander safety. The most common driving distractions are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Texting<\/li>\n<li>Using a cell phone or smart phone<\/li>\n<li>Eating and drinking<\/li>\n<li>Talking to passengers<\/li>\n<li>Grooming<\/li>\n<li>Reading<\/li>\n<li>Using a navigation system<\/li>\n<li>Watching a video<\/li>\n<li>Adjusting a radio, CD player, or MP3 player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Undistracted Driving Follow these tips for undistracted driving:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Make sure all passengers are buckled-up properly.<\/li>\n<li>Be well-rested and in the appropriate mindset to drive.
